Letters of John L. Stoddard, 1886, 1898, 1902.

In a letter to B.F. Underwood, 1886 August 1, Stoddard discuses his poem "In Pace" which was attributed to Doctor W.A. Barry in the "Index," and requests a correction. In a letter, 1898 January 15, Stoddard thanks Isaac Merrill for his wedding present of drinking glasses. In a letter to a Mr. [Young?], 1902 September 8, Stoddard discusses repairs and improvements to his home in the Tyrol, Austria, domestic bliss and quiet life style, and invites him to visit. He expresses admiration for his friend, and notes their similar views of life. He mentions [Young's?] visit to Queen Elizabeth of Romania, and his volume and his book "Canada, Malta & Gibraltar."
